Solar panels collect energy during the day and feed it into the station’s charging system. The battery stores that energy so you can use it for compatible appliances when you need backup.
The panel has a 550W nameplate rating. The Power Tank’s published PV input limit is 400W, so this pairing needs manufacturer or installer confirmation before connection. Actual panel output varies with sunlight, shading and installation.

What is the output and battery capacity?
This model has 500W continuous AC output and a 1000Wh LiFePO4 battery. Keep the combined running load within 500W and check startup demand for motor-driven equipment.
Do I need solar panels to use it?
No. Charge from a suitable AC outlet. The solar package adds one 550W panel; the pairing needs technical confirmation against the station’s published 400W PV input limit before connection.
Does the panel rating change the charging limit?
No. A 550W panel does not change the station’s 400W maximum PV input. Have the exact panel, voltage, current and installation checked by the manufacturer or installer before connection.
Can it power an iron, kettle or air conditioner?
Most irons, kettles, electric cookers and air conditioners exceed this model’s 500W output. Check the appliance label and choose a system that fits its running and starting requirements.
How quickly does it recharge?
Published 500W Power Tank information describes approximately two-hour charging with 500W AC and 400W solar input together. Charging conditions and starting battery level affect the time.
How long will it run my appliances?
Runtime depends on combined load, conversion losses and battery condition. Use this page’s calculator for a planning estimate; lighter loads generally last longer.
Can I use it for internet and computer backup?
Pure sine wave output and switching in 20 milliseconds or less can support compatible equipment. Keep the combined load within 500W and check your equipment’s tolerance for the transfer time.
